The proposals deliver two things Looe needs: 90 genuinely affordable homes for local people, and a new Tesco supermarket that allows residents to shop locally rather than travelling to Liskeard, Saltash or Bodmin.
The site is in a sustainable location, next to Looe Community Academy and the Barbican sports field and within walking distance of bus and rail services, with no overriding environmental constraints to development.
